Not just a successful UK rapper and broadcaster, Casyo ‘Krept’ Johnson and his co-parent, influencer Sasha Ellese Gilbert have created Nala’s Baby and it’s now available in over 400 Boots stores and online!
The brand new naturally derived skincare brand Nala’s Baby has been designed to be inclusive of all skin types. The Black-owned, British-made brand features a perfect zero rating on ingredients vetting app Think Dirty which is dedicated to educating consumers on the chemicals in personal care products.
What’s more, Krept and Sasha have integrated educational technology into each product via a scannable QR code. Designed to help parents by educating and distracting babies and children when they are having nappies changed or lotion applied - transporting children to an augmented reality experience.
The interactive world takes children on a journey through the jungle, meeting Nala’s friends Oscar the Night Owl, Sheddy the Snake, Lenny the Lizard, Mimi the Monkey, Harper the Hippo and Eliza the Elephant, who explain the benefits of natural ingredients on the skin.
The new, accessibly priced, range has been scientifically developed especially for newborns upwards and includes Body Wash & Shampoo, Bubble Bath, Conditioner, Body Lotion, Nighttime Oil and Body Butter. And best of all? Prices start from £5.50 at Boots!
Using 99% naturally derived ingredients the line utilises oats, coconut, hibiscus, Vitamin E, camomile, shea, aloe and lavender alongside many others. All products are proudly dermatologist approved, paediatrician approved, cruelty free, vegan, eczema friendly, tear free, fully recyclable and made in Britain.
Commenting on the launch Krept and Sasha said: “Creating Nala’s Baby has been a passion project for us since the birth of our daughter, Nala, and we are excited for other parents and children to get their hands on the range that we're so proud of. Accessibility to natural products that protect our children was a crucial part of development for us. With this in mind, Nala’s Baby has been designed to truly cater for all skin types, with pricing that is competitive in the natural skincare market, all supported by a campaign that represents society.”
So what are you waiting for? We predict this range won’t be on shelves for long so get your hands on Nala’s Baby before it’s too late!
