Consider the following net, which forms a hexagonal prism. Which one of the following nets will form an identical prism?

There are 5 options in the question.

The right answer can be found at the end.

Many Twitter users have exercised their brain to solve this question. Most of the answers were around C, D and E.

"The correct answer is B because both of prism finish at 1," writes one of the users.

Another user who goes with the name @tripleecho writes, "Identical? None. As the connective tissue in the example for both T and B are on 1, none of the provided answers have the same configuration. If we discount that, C looks satisfactory."

"Has to be C. The orientation of the T not being 90 degrees different to the 4 rules the other possibilities out," writes Sid Eydmann.

The correct answer is option C.
