Look, 2024 hasn't been kind to a host of powersport manufacturers, as the world has collectively tightened its proverbial and real belts.
Interest rates remain high. Economic outlooks remain look. Wages have remained stagnant after years of failing to keep up with high inflation. And everyone who went hard during the pandemic with spending thousands on expensive machines aren't trading those old models in for new ones, as most companies had hoped and banked on.
So what you're left with are consumer demand dropping, dealerships with massive inventories, those same dealers getting angry they're stuck with last year's models, and companies trying to figure out how to best solve these issues. And most of the time, they turn to the tried-and-true method of rebates and/or price slashing, which is exactly what Can-Am is doing to its inventory of 2024 go-fast, don't-die Maverick R UTVs.
How does $3,000 off sound to you?
Across Can-Am's 2024 Maverick R models, customers can get up to $3,000 off via a rebate. That means the standard Maverick R now costs around $32,000, the R X starts around $35,000, the R X RS around $39,000, and the top-of-the-line R X RS with Smart Shox at $41,000. That's a heck of a lot of savings right there, especially on a model that's as burly, rugged, and fast AF as the Maverick R is.
Yet, Can-Am doesn't stop there. Because they can't.
Qualified buyers can get 2.99% interest rates for 36 months, and they'll throw an additional $1,000 off any youth models you purchase with your purchase of an adult model. Granted, you have to buy something like the Maverick R to get $1,000 off those youth machines, but still, it's something. Right? RIGHT?!
There's a host of other deals and rebates on the rest of Can-Am's lineup, too. So if you were in the market for a new UTV or ATV, as well as PWC or snowmobile, it might be time to head to your local BRP dealer and plop down some cash. You might even be able to negotiate some extra cash off as, well, times are tough and dealerships want these 2024s off the lot and out of their hair.
