The Cleveland Browns entered today’s game with a brash of injuries, and it has not gotten easier since the kickoff happened against the Chicago Bears. This time, it is special teams ace and cornerback Mike Ford who has left the game with trainers in the first quarter of this Week 15 showdown.
The weather is sloppy, the field is wet. Through the first ten minutes of the game, the Browns and Bears have struggled to find any success at all offensively. With the reliance on special teams early in this one, the loss of their punt team gunner and one of their key contributors in that phase of the game could be tough.
Ford has also spent some time on the field defensively as well due to the injuries to various cornerbacks this season. Signing a one-year deal with the Browns this offseason, the team has gotten their money’s worth with Ford.
Ford is questionable to return with an illness.
