A youth was stabbed outside a McDonald's fast food restaurant last night.
Police were called to the scene in Grange Road, Birkenhead, shortly after 7pm on Saturday. A 16-year-old boy had been stabbed twice to the leg and also received a slash wound to the head.
A police spokesperson said: "His injuries are not life threatening and he is being treated at hospital. Enquiries are ongoing."

Witnesses reported the McDonald's restaurant was taped off with a "heavy police presence" following the incident last night. The restaurant had re-opened this morning.
