It is Christmas, meaning that many people will be winding down with loved ones to celebrate the festive period.
But for supermarket and shop workers, it's currently the busiest time of the year.
Typically, Boxing Day saw millions of shoppers all over the UK rush out to their nearest stores to try and grab a bargain in the sales. But in recent years, several large chains have announced they won't be opening on December 26, to give their employees some well-deserved rest.
M&S, Waitrose, Aldi and Iceland are just some of the stores that will remain shut on Boxing Day this year, so it's worth keeping track so that you don't get caught out if you need to pop to the shops on that day.
Here's a round-up of each place that won't be open on December 26 in Scotland.
Aldi
The budget chain has announced on their website they will be closed on both Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
The supermarket usually closes on Boxing Day to give staff members time with their families, which will be even more important this year. However, it has announced extended hours for the run up to Christmas, to help families with the festive shop.
In the run-up to Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the majority of Aldi stores will be open from 7am – 10pm Monday to Friday. You can check the times for your nearest store here.
Home Bargains
Home Bargains also announced it will close all of its UK stores on both Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
The discount retailer has also confirmed that it will be closing their store at the earlier time of 5pm this Christmas Eve, so staff can spend more time with their loved ones.
This will be the fourth year the store has chosen to keep its doors closed on Boxing Day. The retailer said it wants to give workers more time to spend with family and friends over the Christmas season this year.

Marks & Spencer
The retail giant won't opening on Christmas Day or Boxing Day this year, to give its staff members a well-earned break with their family and friends.
Stores opening hours will return to normal from 9am-10pm from December 27, and you can check here for more information.
Waitrose
Waitrose also announced on its website that stores will be closed on both Boxing Day and Christmas Day this year. The only exception will be Welcome Break motorway stations and Shell forecourts.
The supermarket said that this move is 'in line' with how it has previously operated during the festive period. You can check your local opening times here.
John Lewis
John Lewis is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year.
Then, from December 27 and 31 most stores will be open between 9am and 8pm.

Iceland
Iceland has confirmed that all stores across the country will be closed on Boxing Day this year to give its staff a well-deserved break.
The supermarket's boss, Richard Walker, said: "We’ll be closing all our Iceland and Food Warehouse stores on Boxing Day, to give our colleagues a well-earned rest with their friends & families."

Poundland
Pound has confirmed that it will be remaining closed on Boxing Day for the third year in a row.
The budget store will also be closed on New Year as a thank you to all staff members this year.

All B&Q stores across Scotland will be remaining closed on December 26 this year.
Stores will reopen on December 27 from 7am - 8pm.

Pets at Home
The pet store chain will be closed on Boxing Day for the third year in a row.
The retail stores and grooming services will be shut on December 26, as the company said it wanted to recognise the hard work of its colleagues throughout the year.
It'll reopen with reduced Bank Holiday hours on December 27. Check your local store's opening times for more information.
Wickes
For three days over Christmas, the retailer will close their doors. On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day the store will be shut before reopening on December 27.
On New Year's Day, Wickes will be closed in Scotland stores will be closed, but open in England and Wales until 4pm.
