Hundreds of app developers on the Apple App Store have created special offers for Black Friday, so App Store Editors have picked out some of their favourite offers and hottest Black Friday deals picks from workouts and wellness to entertainment and gaming.

One of the biggest mobile-based fitness and meal plan apps in the UK, The Body Coach from Joe Wicks, is offering a year’s worth of premium access to workouts and fitness plans for 33% less than normal. An annual subscription to the service is just £59.99 (down from £89.99) with the offer available 23 November to 6 December 2022.

The hugely popular kids app Disney Colouring World will run a 50% off sale for their annual plan, available November 23 to November 28. It’s a huge library of content that can keep kids happy for ages with creative play and all their favourite characters.

Meditation and mindfulness companion Headspace is offering 50% off a year’s access, available 23 to 30 November. It’s one of the leading apps in the mental wellness space, full of meditations, courses, and mindfulness exercises to help you relax, manage stress and find your focus – the perfect addition to your Apple iPhone or iPad to ease the festive stress.

Top shows like Halo, CSI and SpongeBob SquarePants plus live sports including the NFL and the UEFA Champions League Stream can all be accessed for half price through the App Store. Paramount+ is offering 50% off a monthly subscription or full year’s membership.

Roblox is hosting an immersive FIFA World Cup experience in-game – with the tournament in full swing during the Black Friday period, fans can engage in World Cup mini-games and unlock virtual team kits. The World Cup activity runs through November and until 12 December. There are also unique sales and discounts on rare in-game items within the app as part of its Black Friday offers.

The similarly-popular Minecraft will bring back its “Block Friday” week-long celebration in the marketplace. There will be sales of up to 75% on in-game items plus a free skin pack that all players can claim. The offer runs 23-29 November.

App Store favourite Clash of Clans will be hosting a range of offers from 24 November to 2 December, including some of the best gem offers of the year for players looking to upgrade and deck out their base with the best troops and scenery decorations.

Top puzzler Candy Crush Saga will be hosting unique offers for the period on boosters to help players smash through tough levels. Meanwhile, alongside similar offers, Royal Match will be kicking off its first major global tournament at the end of November, where players can compete for their nation to prove their puzzle prowess winning in-game rewards.

Break-out smash, 8 Ball Pool (consistently one of the UK’s top 10 most downloaded games) will hold a Mega Sale across the game for Black Friday. The offer includes access to a super-premium Cue Collection, containing flashy new cues based on the world’s fanciest fountain pens so players can win in style.

Any Marvel fans will want to check out Contest of Champions and Marvel Snap too – both are running Black Panther themed content up to and throughout the Black Friday weekend to celebrate the new film Wakanda Forever. Powerful characters from the film will take over the games and there will be deep discounts on powerful hero upgrades and rare character drops in both games available.
