The owner of a dog who attacked a child on Saturday has been asked to examine their conscience and come forward.
Faye McCann, was walking to Yorkgate mini golf at the weekend with her younger brother and their granda, when she was dragged to the ground by a Japanese Akita.
Faye's mum, Áine, believes her five-year-old daughter "would be dead" if it weren't for her father jumping to action and freeing her neck from its grasp.

The dog, now being held by Belfast City Council wardens, was not micro chipped, and the owner has not yet come forward.
Speaking to Belfast Live about the terrifying ordeal for the New Lodge family, Áine says she wants someone to be held responsible.
She said: "Faye is doing great today. She is just sore, honestly she's a complete dote. I got her straight back into school as she is already a very very anxious child I don't want this to disrupt her.
"My daddy is still extremely sore his body is aching and arms are still very sore he can barely lift them. He just keeps seeing the child being shook about the floor he's completely traumatised.
"I don't know how he feels because I've been completely sick to my stomach. My heart is broke. They had the whole day planned out with their granda.
"Someone is bound to know who owns this dog.
"I want someone to be held accountable for this – for having that dog out and roaming in Yorkgate."
Áine has thanked those who have sent their family well wishes and messages of support.
She said the support they have received since the incident has been "amazing".
Belfast City Council say the dog in question is in their possession and that they are continuing to investigate the incident.
"Following reports of a dog attack on Saturday March 19, members of our dog warden service responded alongside the PSNI," a spokesman told Belfast Live.
"The dog is now in our possession and we continue to investigate the incident. We would encourage any members of the public, with information that can assist the investigation, to please come forward and contact our dog warden service on 02890270431."
PSNI officers attended the scene of the attack on Saturday afternoon and assisted Áine's father who was holding the vicious dog against a railing.
As he wrestled with the dog, he sustained serious injuries to both arms, which were left in a terrible way.
A police spokesperson told Belfast Live: "Police attended a business premises in North Belfast on Saturday March 19 afternoon following a report that a large dog had attacked two children.
"One of the children sustained a bite to their neck.
