Shoppers have been warned over a list of products which were sold recently in stores. Leading UK supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Co-op, Morrisons, Aldi and Waitrose have issued urgent warnings, with products having been recalled.
Product recalls occur when there may be an issue with the food item that means it should not be sold, reports LancsLive. And some retailers have now warned their customers over a range of different products.
This could be in relation to various potential dangers including contamination, misleading or incorrect labels and allergens. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the latest list of items to be pulled from the shelves include Asda Italian Inspired Chicken and Bacon Pasta Bake, John West Boneless Sardines in Sunflower Oil and Olive Oil, Co-op Chilli & Lime Protein Crunch and Aldi's Primula Spicy Cheese N Jalapeno.
