Asda offers customers money off shopping if they book in-store flu jab

Asda is offering its customers a chance to save on their shopping while boosting their health. The supermarket giant has said that anyone booking a £9.98 private flu jab can save £1 through their rewards app.

The offer follows Asda launching the app earlier this year. Customers can use the app to get cash back as well as money off at the checkout, Liverpool Echo reports.

It comes as people are focused on saving money as much as possible as the cost of living soars. Fears over inflation and energy bills means people are carefully watching their incomings and outgoings.

Anyone who books a private flu jab at an Asda pharmacy will receive a cash reward for doing so through Asda Rewards. Customers who book the vaccination, priced at £9.98, before October 23 will be credited £1 into their "cash pot".

The retailer is also offering free jabs to those who are eligible through the NHS including, frontline or social care workers, pregnant individuals, or those with certain health conditions. For further information on conditions that qualify individuals for a free jab, visit the NHS website. Individuals are able to book one flu jab per year.
