Four major UK supermarkets have issued a warning to customers urging them to return certain products over safety fears.
In the latest round of product recalls, Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco and Asda have all issued a specific list of items which should be returned to stores. The safety warnings have been issued for a number of reasons. When a product in a store is recalled, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) is the authority responsible for sharing details on what to do if you have purchased the item. The FSA also provides details on why the product is being taken off the shelves.

Below are the specific products from Asda, Morrisons and Waitrose which are being recalled.
Morrisons, Waitrose and Tesco
All three supermarkets have issed a joint product recall warning for John West products. The well-known fish brand is taking a precautionary measure in asking customers to return John West Boneless Sardines in Sunflower Oil and John West Sardines in Olive Oil because of a possible microbiological contamination risk..

Asda
Leeds-based Asda also has a separate warning for a certain own-brand pasta bake. The supermarket giant is recalling Asda Italian Inspired Chicken and Bacon Pasta Bake over fears it contains a mustard which is not mentioned on the label.
This therefore poses a health risk to anyone who eats it and has an allergy to mustard.

Asda says it has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The retailer says it has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers, with these explaining to shopeprs why the product is being recalled.
If you have bought the product and have an allergy to mustard, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store you bought it from where you can obtain a full refund.
