Greater Manchester Traffic Police were informed and the vehicle was located in Walkden and the driver detained. Police advertised the incident on social media and said the driver was suspected to be over the drink drive limit and also allegedly failed a drugs test.

GMP thanked the concerned member of the public who had alerted them to the incident, meaning they were able to intervene and arrest him.
