There was rumored interest between the Cleveland Browns and defensive coordinator candidate Dennard Wilson to take over as defensive passing game coordinator, a role they have not filled yet. However, after Wilson and the Philadelphia Eagles opted to mutually part ways after he was passed up for their defensive coordinator job, Wilson has chosen to join the Baltimore Ravens instead as their defensive backs coach.
The Browns have not hired (or at least named) a passing game coordinator yet as they broke up their defensive backs coaches by safeties and cornerbacks this time around. Could another hire be on the way or will an experienced play-caller like safeties coach Ephraim Banda take the reigns as passing game coordinator?
