Anthropologie's colorful and collectible icon glasses are all over my feed – here's why this kitchen main character is actually worth its hype

If you've scrolled through TikTok lately, you might have come across the hype around Anthropologie's now-iconic icon glasses. The main character of many unboxing videos, these handblown juice glasses have quickly become a cult collector's item among home decor enthusiasts – myself included.

I never thought I’d become the kind of person who obsesses over glassware, but here I am, spending far too much time deliberating over whether I need the bows, the croissant, or the chilli version of Anthropologie’s Icon Glasses. Colorful, collectible, and a little bit nostalgic, they’ve gone viral for good reason. And after finally getting my hands on a few, I’m completely smitten.

Whether you’re looking for spring tablescaping ideas, curating your kitchen shelves, or after a memorable gift, these whimsical glasses manage to tick every box. If you're wondering which to choose – and if you really need more than one – I've rounded up everything you need to know.

What makes these so special is their joyful blend of charm and craftsmanship. Helping you find a little bit of delight in your morning juice, a beautiful glass simply helps you create more moments of delight in the everyday.

Juice, however, is the key word here; you might have seen that viral video where one TikTok creator learnt the hard way that they're not for hot beverages! But what they lack in heat-proof capacity, they certainly make up for in fun.

With a handmade quality (they each have their own unique quirks), these glasses have inspired a thousand copycat iterations, but Anthropologie is truly the home of the Icon Glass. But they're not just pretty. Carefully handcrafted using hand-pressed glass beads and handblown glass, when I visited the Anthro store, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they're also fairly heavy, giving them a sturdy and high-quality feel.

And thanks to the collectible motifs depicting your favorite fruits, foods, or furry friends, there really is a character to suit everyone.

Whether you place them along your kitchen shelves or style a more personalized tablescape for your loved ones (Honey Bee for Granny and Avocado for your Mom), they add instant whimsy.

With limited-edition runs dropping all the time for new seasons or holidays (Anthropologie's Easter collection 2025 was complete with bunny and carrot glassware and you just missed out on the shamrock design for St. Patrick's Day), the exclusive lines lead to competitive levels of shopping frenzy as fans try to get their hands on the latest motif for their collection.

And of course, there is something so nostalgic about collecting something. A child-like joy that has you yearning for the next version to drop – be that the Easter bunny version, a Halloween ghost, or the new confetti versions below. The levels of hysteria around the new designs can only be compared to the launch of a new iPhone or sell-out sneaker. And honestly, I'm not surprised.

Shop Anthropologie's Spring Icon Glasses

As we head further into the year, you can expect plenty of new additions to the Icon family for each new season or celebration. I, for one, am super excited to see what the Christmas designs will look like – but let's not wish the year away too quickly.

Below, I've rounded up my favorite designs from the 27 current styles on offer for spring and summer.

If you were thinking these could do with a taller sibling complete with a lid and a steel straw, you're in luck. Anthropologie has just launched the Icon Juice Glass Tumbler with Lid with six fun and fruity designs. And the Love Notes Juice Glasses are next on my list. That 'Howdy' design? It is going straight into my basket.

But these have a habit of selling out, so if you have your eye on any of these new designs, be sure to snap them up quickly before they're gone for good.
