Edinburgh locals will have a chance to spend the evening with one of the UK's most popular television personalities this autumn.
Graham Norton, deemed one of the country's 'most treasured broadcasters and presenters' will appear at the capital's Usher Hall in October as he discusses his soon-to-be-released new novel, Forever Home, as part of a UK-wide tour.
An Evening With Graham Norton will see the highly acclaimed author discuss the themes Forever Home explores, and how he creates his characters, atmospheric locations and that all important emotional clout that has become trademark in his novels. The 'master storyteller' will soon also share tales from his extraordinary career, and what inspired him to pick up a pen and start writing.

Organisers say ahead of the show, scheduled for Tuesday, October 18: "Darkly comic, Graham’s latest book hosts a perfectly observed cast all trying their best to cope with the extraordinary challenges life has confronted them with. Carol is a divorced teacher living in a small Irish town, her only son now grown up.
A second chance at love brings her unexpected connection, a shared home and belonging. But her relationship with Declan sparks local speculation: what does a woman like her see in a man like him? What happened to his wife who abandoned him all those years ago?
