Amir Khan has told his rival Kell Brook he needs "a slap" after ignoring his handshake during an intense face-off.
Bitter rivals Khan and Brook will finally meet in a 149lb catchweight fight this Saturday at the Manchester Arena.
The former world titleholders have been expected to fight for over a decade, but it wasn't until last November the pair agreed to a long-awaited showdown.
Brook has confirmed that a rematch clause was included in his contract for the fight, but the Sheffield-born fighter thinks Khan won't want a second fight after the " beatdown " he will put on him.
The rivals faced off during ' The Gloves are Off ' for Sky Sports and Khan was furious at the end of the meeting when Brook snubbed his handshake.
"I offered it, obviously he doesn't want it. What he needs that for that, you need a slap for that," Khan told Brook after he ignored his handshake.
"Someone tries to shake your hand, be a gentleman. At the end of the day we're prizefighters, but so be it."
And a stone-faced Kell replied: "We'll shake hands after the fight, this is personal. What do we need to shake hands for, it's just all bull what you're coming with."
Khan and Brook have faced spells of inactivity in the ring in recent years and hold a mutual loss to welterweight champion Terence Crawford.
Brook claimed his hatred of Khan stems from years of disrespect and avoidance of his accomplishments in the ring.
"He's never given me due, he's never given me respect. He's done what he's done through the amateurs but I've had to do it the hard way," Brook said.
"I got to my position to be mandatory challenger for a world title. I went to America and won it, I still get no respect. I just want that acknowledgement and respect."

Given the years of build-up and bad blood, Khan said he cannot think about losing and has likened the enormity of the grudge match to a world title fight.
Both men have promised to knock each other out and Brook is confident on his part to provide an exciting fight for the Manchester crowd.
"It goes for both of us, there's a lot on the line. I think at times we're going to be exchanging and there's going to be fireworks," Brook said.
And Khan backed up his comments by stating: "This fight, it's going to be a war. We both know we don't like each other and come fight night, we're gonna have a war, 100 per cent."
