Amanda Holden has stressed there is no rift with Holly Willoughby after dismissing feud speculation.
The 52-year-old was accused of mocking the This Morning presenter after she addressed the Phillip Schofield scandal on Monday's show.
That led to rumours the pair had fallen as reports claimed she and Holly, 42, have been pitted against each other for several telly roles.
Amanda, 52 – dressed all in white with a golden tan – asked her social media followers: “Are you OK?”
A day earlier, Holly – dressed all in white with a golden tan – had asked viewers the same question before addressing the recent departure of her co-host.
But Amanda dismissed the 'feud' in a statement uploaded to Instagram this morning.
"Sadly strong and intelligent women have for far too long been pitted against one other when we should all be celebrated in our own right," Amanda penned.
"Women are still expected to say nothing, suffer silently and just get on with it. And we do... mostly.
"There have been some huge assumptions made this week and everyone has feasted on them."
The Sun reported on Wednesday that a source said Holly "questioned how Amanda's allowed to have become so influential".
It was also claimed that she felt she had too much sway in the industry - and had a say in the Britain's Got Talent judging panel.
Amanda and Holly's former co-star Phillip fell out in 2018, when she claimed the host sabotaged her chance of filling for Holly on This Morning.
Amanda stepped in for Holly during her maternity leave in 2014, which she “loved”.
But the following year, Phillip, 61, made it clear he had enjoyed it slightly less, saying: “She kept me on my toes.
“She forgets she’s on the telly, which is endearing but occasionally quite scary.”
But reports claimed Phillip requested Rochelle Humes instead because he found her easier to “manage” on air. ITV said: “Final decisions are made by producers, not presenters.”
Last year, Amanda praised David Beckham for “getting in line” to see the Queen lying in state, while Phillip and Holly were criticised for using media passes to avoid the 12-hour wait.
And when Phillip left This Morning last month, Amanda seemed to celebrate his exit by posting a bicep emoji.
Following the video of Amanda appearing to mimic Holly's speech, a spokesman said: “Amanda has always made it clear in the past she has no issues with Holly. Today’s video has been taken completely out of context.”
