Popular theme park Alton Towers has 1,000 jobs up for grabs as it gets ready for its 2022 season.
The Staffordshire tourist attraction has launched its recruitment drive and is looking for ride operators, actors, retail assistants and restaurant and bar hosts.
Other positions include hotel-based roles, such as housekeeping and hotel receptionists, reports Stoke on Trent Live.

Now job-seekers are invited to attend a recruitment event at Stoke Jobs Fair at the Double Tree by Hilton Festival Park hotel on Wednesday (January 26) from 10am to 1pm.
Candidates will be given the chance to find out more about the roles on offer, apply for positions, and in some cases be interviewed at the event.
Those who are successful in applying for a role will get free tickets to top UK Merlin attractions.
The jobs come as Alton Towers is set to launch three new attractions at its CBeebies Land this season.
Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home are all coming to the theme park.

Ride operator
In this role you'll be there to push the buttons that bring the place to life! Working as part of a team you will be committed to deliver memorable experiences for guests on a daily basis and to help to operate the rides and attractions.
You will be ultimately responsible for the safety of any guests or team members on the ride whilst also maintaining cleanliness and strict safety policies. Where else can you say that you're responsible for a rollercoaster?
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
You will receive a Merlin Magic pass, 25 per cent discount in the retail shops and restaurants, 40 per cent discount online off Lego, and much more.
This role can be either full time or part time, fixed term, from February 2022 until November 2022, working weekends and bank holidays as required.
Food and beverage host - Rollercoaster Restaurant
The UK's first Rollercoaster Restaurant which opened in May 2016 is offering a range of employment opportunities for those who are interested in working in a super-fast-paced environment.
The 150 seater Rollercoaster Restaurant is set below a vast rollercoaster track where diners can watch as their order tackles two gravity defying loop-the-loops before dropping 8m/26ft - the equivalent of two double decker buses - down the tornado spiral to their table, and the Resort needs to recruit a team to make this an experience diners will never forget!
You'll need to be enthusiastic, outgoing, approachable and confident, with exceptionally high standards both operationally and in customer service. Full training will be given around what is on the menu, but it will be up to you to ensure guests get what they want, so you'll need to feel comfortable making recommendations.

Entertainments performer
Whether it is performing within unique character experiences in CBeebies Land, engaging with the guests in live street theatre, presenting game shows at the hotels or performing at unique events, Alton Towers are seeking experienced professionals to join their entertainments team.

Warehouse associate
In this role you'll maintain the supply chain, ensuring all Resort stock and goods get to where they need to be on time. Various responsibilities of this role include completing the delivery chain from external suppliers, receiving and managing goods in, delivering stock to all areas of the Resort, managing Hotel deliveries, operating forklift trucks, picking merchandise and assisting in stock counts.
You'll provide an efficient and friendly service to the Resort's teams. To fulfil this role, you must be aged 18 or over and hold a full UK driving licence. Due to the nature of the role, you'll be required to do shift work.
This role can be either full time or part time, fixed term, from February 2022 until November 2022 working weekends and bank holidays as required. Successful applicants for this role will need a full, clean UK driving licence.
Retail host
As a member of the team you'll be creating a magical and interactive experience for guests by offering an exciting range of products from one of their many themed shops and kiosks. You will be joining a highly motivated team, helping to drive sales through performance and guest service excellence.
This role can be either full time or part time, fixed term, from February 2022 until November 2022, working weekends and bank holidays as required.
Admissions Host
As an admissions host you will be the face of the resort, being one of the first and last team members guests interact with, delivering the most magical start and end to their day.
Admissions hosts work in a variety of positions across the entrance areas: from parking cars, to selling tickets and processing passes on our tills, through to helping guests have a swift entry through the turnstiles or hotel guest entrance and also assisting with crowd management.
In this unique role you will have the opportunity to interact with every single guest who visits the theme park - playing a key role in ensuring guests have the most smooth, efficient and memorable arrival and departure experience.
Ideal admissions hosts are people who love working in all weather conditions within fast paced environments, having an energetic, positive and proactive nature to deliver memorable experiences to guests during long and busy days.
You will be someone who loves a challenge and is able to think on their feet, as you'll be the first point of call for any issues guests have while parking their cars or using their tickets. You'll be someone who loves to share their passion and knowledge for the resort, and thrive in a work environment where you are presented with new scenarios on a daily basis, all whilst using your initiative to deliver the best possible service each and every time.
Hours in this role range from 3 to 12 per day, working a mixture of long and short days which are rotated between the team. There is the opportunity for both part time and full time hours. Successful candidates will be required to walk long distances at a fast pace on a daily basis. For those who excel in their roles they offer excellent opportunities for progression both within the Admissions department and wider resort.
