Attending The Super Bowl In Luxury Style - There Is Still Time

Sunday February 13th will be the single biggest day in American sports, and without fail, the Super Bowl is the most watched annual television event in this country. This year’s showdown promises drama and will feature either the San Francisco 49ers or the Los Angeles Rams against either the Kansas City Chiefs or Cincinnati Bengals. Regardless, one California team is guaranteed to be playing in its home state, and there’s a roughly 50-50 chance of the Rams advancing and making it only the second “home game” Super Bowl in history (and second in a row!). That means the remaining tickets will probably move fast.

While close to 100 million will tune in via flat screens, only a tiny percentage of football fans get to go in person. But even among these lucky few, there is an extremely wide range of quality in terms of the experience. 65,000 or so spectators will pack every seat within Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, but it is an unfortunate fact of arena deign that the higher you go, the more seats are in each row, and the number of premium seats closer to field level is always going to be the smallest subset for spectators.

That is why some deep pocketed fans find it worthwhile to fork over ten or twenty grand or more to do Super Bowl LVI in style, including seats in the lower-level sideline VIP area. There are numerous sports travel companies that offer Superbowl tickets online, but QuintEvents has for years been an official provider and has vast experience, and this year they have teamed up with the Pro Football Hall of Fame as the official partner to offer luxury VIP packages. When I attended Super Bowl XLVI in 2012 (not with the company), I toured the QuintEvents facility and was very impressed. I have since used their similar all-inclusive official partner package service to attend the Kentucky Derby. As a result of my experience there, I have heartily recommended them to friends interested in attending the Derby, which is an amazing event, and expect they will offer a similar level of quality at next month’s Super Bowl. But most importantly, they still have space, so if you want to go, this is an easy way to make that dream happen.

In addition to the coveted great seats, a big differentiator is the pre-game Gold Jacket Club party hosted by NFL superstar Emmitt Smith. While everybody else coming to SoFi is snacking on typical hotdogs and nachos, QuintEvents’ customers can fuel up on cocktails and chef-prepared dishes at the Gold Jacket Party at Hollywood Park, literally a five minute (secure) walk from the SoFi gates. Smith will be joined by other NFL football hall of fame legends such as Cris Carter and Andre Reed for meet and greet guest photo ops during the lavish 3-hour bash. The QuintEvents packages are turnkey for out-of-town visitors and also include a stay at a premium hotel, with direct ground transportation to and from the game, but can also be purchased with no lodging and shuttles.

Brian Reude, President of QuintEvents said, “Together with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we are thrilled to be bringing the Gold Jacket Club with host Emmitt Smith to Los Angeles for the 2022 Super Bowl. Our space at Hollywood Park is spectacular and we are bringing exceptional value to our customers by being walking distance to SoFi Stadium with parking on-site. QuintEvents is passionate about delivering the best fan experience for events around the globe and this Super Bowl will be no exception.”

The top tier packages run $22,500-$27,500 depending on hotel choice and seat location, but most of the very best seats (midfield) have sold out. As of this writing, the top remaining option is the Gold B package, with great seats in the lowest field level around the 30-yard line on both ends and both sides of the field. This runs from $21,459 with 3-nights at the Hoxton in Downton Los Angeles to $24,109 with a less time-pressed 4-night stay at the Loews Santa Monica Beach ($18,849 with no lodging at all). The Silver B package ($13,549 without hotel) is the same but with lowest level end zone seating, from $16,159 to $18,809. All options include a 2022 Superbowl Game ticket and admission to the Gold Jacket Club Super Bowl Pre-Party and can include a 3-4-night stay at a limited choice of hotels, with game day ground transportation.
