Well, the curtain has come down on another first-round of the NFL draft and Ohio State once again had a couple of players walk across the stage. Both of OSU’s dynamic receivers, Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, went off the board in back-to-back picks with the No. 10 and No. 11 picks on Thursday night.
That now brings the total of first-round draft picks for Ohio State to a nation-leading 87, three ahead of USC who has had 84 total first-round draft picks all time. The Buckeyes also lead when it comes to the most NFL draft picks since 2000, with a whopping 153, well ahead of Alabama’s 139. OSU is also up there just behind Alabama for the most first-rounders since 2000, and that’s where our gaze is fixed right now.
Here are all of Ohio State football’s first-round NFL draft picks by year since 2000.
