As households across the country continue to feel the pinch of the cost of living crisis, even something as simple as the weekly shop can feel like you are stretching your budget.
With prices at the supermarket also continuing to increase, it can be handy to know where is offering the cheapest prices - and it looks like Aldi is still living up to its low cost reputation.
A recent price comparison study from Which? found that the discounted German grocer held onto the crown for a second month running.
It comes after households were dealt a major blow when it was announced that annual grocery prices could rocket by £454 due to inflation levels reaching record highs.
The consumer champion group compared the prices on a basket of 47 household and grocery items across eight major supermarket chains.
Aldi came out on top with a total of £74.23, which narrowly beat out their rival Lidl by just £1.38.
It comes just after the UK's fifth largest supermarket was named the cheapest UK supermarket for the weekly big shop after taking home the crown last month.
Rival supermarket Lidl narrowly missed out on this month's title with a total of £75.61, with Asda coming in third with a total of £85.22, while Sainsbury's managed to takeover Tesco for this month's fourth place with a total of £86.27.
Tesco slid to fifth place this month with a total of £86.77, while Morrisons trailed in at sixth place with a total of £91.14, and Ocado came in sixth with a total of £95.33.
Waitrose has also managed to retain its own crown as the UK's most expensive supermarket, as the premium grocer came in with a total of £99.46 for the same basket of items.
It means that the weekly shop at Aldi could save you a whopping £25.23 when compared to shopping at Waitrose.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, said: “We know that across the nation many families are finding things tough due to the cost of living crisis.
"At Aldi, we’re determined to help by keeping costs low and quality high for our customers. We’re thrilled to yet again be named the UK’s cheapest supermarket.”
