The UK's cheapest supermarket is Aldi where it costs £25.53 less for a big shop of around 50 items, new research has suggested. It came out top in the monthly price analysis done by Which?.
Research by the consumer champions found it costs £75.61 for Aldi shoppers to buy a basket of 52 items in June, including groceries and household essentials. In second spot was Lidl where the same items cost £76.99 - £1.38 more.
Elsewhere, shoppers at Asda would pay £85.22, - £9.61 more; at Tesco the cost was £86.63 - £11.02 more and Sainsbury's shoppers would pay £87.24, - £11.63 more, the Mirror reports.

Finally at Morrisons, the cost of the 52 items was £91.03, at Ocado it was £97.50 and Waitrose, £101.14.
