Aldi launches premium skincare range that is £224 cheaper than designer brands

Aldi is well-known for their designer 'dupes', as their in-house Lacura brand tends to price up to 50 per cent cheaper than most luxury brands.

And now, the supermarket is set to expand its popular skincare brand with a premium range that will include a brand new innovative product. The Daily Record reports that the store will also be bringing back old favourite products as well.

Available to pre-order from Sunday, October 30, and to buy in-stores from Sunday, November 6, Aldi's premium skincare collection will start from prices as little as £3.99.

The range will feature a Vitamin C serum, facial scrub, exfoliating treatment, eye cream and peptide moisturiser, which all comes to a total price of £26.95. This makes the range a whopping £224.05 cheaper compared to counterpart products.

Included in the latest beauty drop will be the brand new and innovative Vitamin C & Turmeric Serum, which is said to be a 'dupe' for Sunday Riley's Vitamin C + Turmeric Oil. The Aldi version is priced at just £5.99, which is 80 per cent cheaper than the luxury brand - priced at £34.

According to the Aldi website, the serum is specially formulated with Ginger + Sweet Orange Essential Oils and a blend of Raspberry, Evening Primrose and Jojoba Oil, and promises to brighten dull complexions whilst reducing redness for a softer and more supple finish.

There are also a few cult favourites from Aldi that are set to make a return to shelves, following a successful debut in 2021.

These include the Lacura Microdermabrasion Scrub (£3.99), which aims to clean pores and remove impurities. There is also a Lacura Glycolic Exfoliating Treatment (£5.99), which is enriched with Glycolic Acid, Prickly Pear and Lemongrass Oil for a moisturising and exfoliating mask that will reveal healthier and more radiant skin.

The Lacura Intensive Eye Cream (£3.99) is also returning, and aims to banish fine lines and wrinkles. Packed with many vitamins, it hydrates and smooths skin.

And lastly, but certainly not least, the supermarket is bringing back its highly praised Lacura Multi-Peptide Moisturiser (£6.99) that has been formulated with seven peptides, proteins and nutrients to help put moisture back into the skin and boost elasticity.

The whole range is as follows:

  • Lacura Vitamin C & Turmeric Serum - £5.99
  • Lacura Microdermabrasion Scrub - £3.99
  • Lacura Glycolic Exfoliating Treatment - £5.99
  • Lacura Intensive Eye Cream - £3.99
  • Lacura Multi-Peptide Moisturiser - £6.99

Aldi's premium skincare collection will be available to pre-order from Sunday, November 30, and available in-stores from Sunday, November 6 - while stocks last.
