Aldi launches £30 Harry Potter smart watch for kids with educational games and fitness tracker

If you're looking for ways to encourage your children to get active during the school holidays, then Aldi's latest Smartbuy might be just the thing. The supermarket giant has launched a range of children's smart watches which include fun features including games, selfie camera, pedometer and lots more.

And, timed perfectly to coincide with the launch of the latest film, The Secrets of Dumbledore, one of the options is a Harry Potter themed smart watch. As well as the Harry Potter version, Aldi is also selling Minecraft, Spiderman, LOL, Frozen and Avengers versions, both in store and online.

Whoever your child's favourite character is, each version of the watch has six themed games to keep them busy as well as pedometer, selfie camera and video recorder to document their travels. It also has a calculator and alarm clock.

The watch is charged using USB and comes with its own cable as well as a one-year warranty. The watch, which is recommended for children aged six and above, has already had a host of five star reviews, with one happy shopper commenting: "I bought this for my son's birthday and he loves it. The games on it are quite educational which is good and he likes being able to make little videos."

It costs £29.99 and you can get it from Aldi here. The watch is the latest in Aldi's much-loved Specialbuys, which range from DIY products to homeware, gifting, beauty and children's products, all of which are released to great fanfare.
