Aer Lingus customers have been hit with more cancellations today travelling to and from Dublin Airport amid staff shortages.
As Ireland continues to work through the latest wave of Covid-19, many businesses are left short of available staff meaning some services have had to grind to a temporary halt.
According to the live flight information on the Dublin Airport website, there have been five outbound cancellations and four inbound flights scrapped impacting London, Berlin, and Hamburg passengers.

The five Aer Lingus trips that won't be going ahead today from the capital include three London flights - scheduled for 7:30 am, 3:55 pm, and 8:15 pm - one Hamburg flight that was due to take off at 7:00 am, and a Berlin trip due to depart at 5:55 pm.
The arriving flights that are also affected by the latest cancellations include another two that were to take off from London Heathrow at 11:20 am and 7:35 pm today, a flight departing Hamburg at 11:50 am, and Berlin at 11:15 pm.
These cancellations will likely affect up to 1,500 customers, however, according to the Aer Lingus policy, each person will be re-accommodated.
Speaking after the first cancellations earlier this week, an Aer Lingus spokeswoman explained: "Aer Lingus anticipated the return of demand for travel once Covid restrictions were removed and built appropriate buffers into our plans in order to deal with a reasonable level of additional disruption.
"This weekend, system pressures from ATC strikes, and ongoing issues at airports and among third-party suppliers have regrettably necessitated the cancellation of some flights.
“This pressure on the system has been compounded by a spike in Covid cases among our own teams in the last number of days.
"Where cancellations have occurred, Aer Lingus has sought to re-accommodate disrupted passengers on the next available alternative service.
"Aer Lingus wishes to apologise to those customers that have been impacted, and has shared detail regarding customers’ rights and the airlines’ obligations under Regulation (EC) 261/2004 which can be found here: www.aerlingus.com/support/legal/regulation."
