One of Edinburgh's most adorable dogs is currently searching for a new owner after being housed at the Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home.
An adorable bundle of fluff, Buddy is currently living at the capital shelter, and is in need of a new home he can thrive in.
Thought to be coming up for around four-years-old, the Maltese/Havanese cross is a "happy and playful" little lad, however he is looking for a relaxed home to get over his nerves.

A huge fan of belly scratches, Buddy is looking for an "experienced owner", who has a good knowledge of how to work with anxious dogs.
Speaking about the cute little pooch, staff said:
"Buddy is looking for an experienced owner who has some understanding of anxious dogs and nervous behaviour.
"He needs a quiet home, without children under the age of 16, where he will be the only pet.

"Buddy is a nervous wee dog who prefers a nice quiet life. When he’s feeling settled, he is happy and playful, and loves chasing after a ball.
"He likes meeting up with his small dog friends for a walk, but he is very fearful of larger dogs so can be reactive around them. He loves a good belly scratch and likes being fussed over, but this has to be on his terms as he likes his space too.
"Buddy will require regular visits to the groomers to keep him comfortable and looking dapper."
