Israeli police have reported the arrest of 29 individuals during mass protests in Tel Aviv. The arrests were made on charges of vandalism, disorderly conduct, and attacking officers.
During the protests, a policewoman was injured in a confrontation with demonstrators. She lost consciousness and had to be evacuated for medical treatment. Details of her injuries were not provided in the police statement.
Authorities also accused some protesters of breaching security perimeters and gaining access to the Ayalon Highway. Once on the highway, they blocked several lanes and set fires.
Police have since cleared all traffic routes of demonstrators, allowing the roads to gradually reopen to cars. The situation is now under control, and efforts are being made to restore normalcy in the area.
