Norman Cook jokingly blasted his ex-wife Zoe Ball during an interview on Radio 2 after she 'forgot' their marriage.
In 2016, Zoe, 52, and her DJ husband Norman Cook, otherwise known as Fatboy Slim, revealed that they had 'come to the end of our rainbow' after 18 years of marriage.
However, the pair remain pals despite their marriage ending as Norman, 59, joined Zoe on Radio 2 this morning for an exclusive chat about all things Glastonbury as the annual festival in Worthy Farm continues over the weekend, writes The Mirror.
Fatboy Slim will take to the stage this year and told Zoe that he's been working hard to prepare for the festival and has been trying to cut his tracks to ensure they all fit into his set.
He told his ex-wife: "I'm in Brighton, just prepping for Glastonbury. Trying to shorten all my tracks so I can get them all in on the show."
Introducing him to her listeners, Zoe joked that she had forgotten bit of Norman's successful career and then went on to say that she had forgotten that they were ever married.
Zoe said: "I now welcome to the show somebody you may know from The Housemartins, Pizzaman, Beats International – I nearly forgot what you were called then, sorry," Zoe said.
To which Norman replied: "And such things as our marriage."
"And such things as our marriage. It is Fatboy Slim aka Norman Cook," Zoe clapped back.
Previously, the DJ praised his ex wife for keeping him grounded throughout his successful career.
Earlier this year, the Praise You hit-maker appeared on the Changes podcast where he shared: "One thing I did have to keep a lid on during that crazy time was my ego. While you’ve got licence to break rules, you’ve always got a lot of people who’ll let you get away with murder.
"Zoe was really good for me for that, because she knew the fame game and we would sort of check each other.
"If I wasn’t respectful to people, she’d go: “Oi, come on, that’s not how we behave! Go back and thank them for that.
"We were both quite good at keeping each other’s feet on the ground. Because it’s hard when everyone’s saying: “Here, have this, take this, drink this, you’re brilliant.”
"It’s hard to keep some kind of limit and say: “I am actually a human being, not a superstar.” I think we probably saved each other a lot of bother."
Zoe and Norman got married in 1999, they temporarily separated in 2003 and rekindled their happy marriage and had two children together before they ultimately decided to call it quits in 2016.
