Zinedine Zidane 'lined up' by PSG with Christophe Galtier's job at risk after Champions League loss

Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier could be facing the sack after three successive defeats for the Ligue 1 side, according to reports.

The Frenchman, who succeed Mauricio Pochettino at the Parc des Princes last year, is under pressure after PSG were eliminated from the French Cup by Marseille, suffered a thumping defeat to Monaco in the league, and lost the first leg of the Champions League tie with Bayern Munich. According to French publication RMC Sport, Galtier could be in line for the boot if results don't improve ahead of the second leg against the Bavarians on March 8.

It is believed there has been no discussions about getting rid of the former Nice head coach with PSG currently six points clear at the top of the league. An early exit from Europe's premier tournament and it could be curtains for Galtier with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe missing out on silverware again in Paris.

RMC has also reported that former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane could be lined up to replace the 56-year-old in the dugout in Paris by the Qatari Emir.
