Zara Tindall won't meet husband Mike at the I'm A Celebrity bridge, former show star Edwina Currie has said.
There has been speculation whether the niece of King Charles will meet her rugby playing husband in Australia when his time on the show comes to an end, but so far, she's nowhere to be seen.
For Tory government minister Edwina said Zara will be conscious of the publicity, and her three kids need her more.
Edwina, who was on the show in 2014 , said: "I don’t think she’ll come because she’d be there now. My own opinion is that she won’t be there, not least because the kids need her more than anything.
"She’ll be very conscious as the monarch's niece that you can take this kind of publicity a bit too far.
"They don’t need the publicity, therefore I would be surprised if she goes. My guess is that the person who will welcome him at the end of the bridge will be one of his rugby mates."
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, the ex MP said Mike "needs to be extremely careful about what he says about the Royal Family".
"I'm pretty sure he is watching what he says. Some of the stories he has told have been a bit naughty, like splitting his pants in front of Princess Anne.
"It might well be that he knows not to share too much like that as sometimes it can be too much information and becomes a bit unpleasant."
During his jungle stint, Mike revealed he split his trousers in front of mother-in-law Princess Anne, while dancing at his wife's birthday party.
During yesterday's episode, Jill Scott wondered whether Prince William is watching the show because of his connection to Mike, to which the rugby player only smiled.
Boy George, who went on to be evicted, joked that the future king wouldn't be watching for Mike, but for himself.
While Zara might not be meeting Mike on the bridge, she did send him a heart-warming letter, with updates on their children, Mia, eight, Lena, four, and Lucas, one.
During Sunday's episode episode, each campmate received a letter from their loved ones back home, thanks to a successful challenge.
Zara said in her letter: "Hi my love, we are missing you so much and really needing some papa hugs, but glad you're sharing them with your campmates.
"The girls are enjoying sports and throwing themselves into everything at the moment and the little man is loving life, smashing it up, learning some new words. Z, M, L and L. x."
Following Boy George's shock eviction, viewers took to Twitter to ponder who will be in the top three, with fans believing it will Mike, Owen and Jill battling it out for the crown.
It follows all three becoming a hit with viewers thanks to their one liners, their attempts at the Bushtucker Trials and their attitudes in camp.
