Zara Tindall's reunion hug with Mike on I’m A Celebrity questioned by Ant and Dec

Mike Tindall and his wife Zara's emotional reunion on the I'm A Celeb bridge has been cheekily questioned by Ant and Dec.

The pair embraced following his eviction on Saturday after the rugby legend finishing fourth on the ITV show.

As the World Cup winner wrapped his arms around his royal wife, he was heard saying "I've missed you so much."

Hosts Ant and Dec loved the sweet moment between the couple just as much as the viewers at home.

But the pair were left with a few questions on social media on Sunday.

Ant told the duo’s 4.8 million Instagram followers: “How nice to see Zara on the bridge, for Mike!”

Dec agreed with his pal, saying: “Yeah, wasn’t that nice? Very nice.”

But Ant then pulled a face as he asked why Zara didn’t turn around to face the ITV cameras on the bridge.

He said: “Should have turned around though really.

“She should have turned around and had a little cuddle with him, I reckon, a little smile so we could all see her, but we didn’t get to see her.

“It was behind, a cuddle from behind, good hug though, good Mike hug!”

Dec told him: “Good cuddle from behind, that’s what we like.”

There had been speculation over whether Zara would meet Mike on the bridge, as she hadn't been spotted in Oz - unlike the loved ones of other campmates.

But Zara, who is 20th in the line of succession to the British throne, flung her arms around her rugby star husband as she met him - with Mike heard uttering some sweet words to the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal as they reunited after more than three weeks apart.

They soon went out to grab some food as they celebrated being back in the country where they first locked eyes on each other.

The loved-up pair met in a Sydney bar while Mike competed in England's successful World Cup campaign in Oz back in 2003.

Zara was travelling across Australia when she decided to call into a local bar to watch the semi-final, where Mike was also catching the game alongside some teammates after being dropped from the line-up.

"Clive (Woodward, the coach) had just told me I was dropped for the semi-final, so I went out for a beer with two others who weren't playing, Martin Corry and Austin Healey," Mike explained when recalling how he met his now-wife.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2011, he continued to reveal: "Zara was in the same bar; we got introduced but didn't speak that much.

"Later on, Austin gave me her number and said, 'She wants you to text her, to say where you're all going out after the final so she can come along'."

The following year it was confirmed the pair were dating and they eventually went on to marry on July 30, 2011 at Edinburgh's Canongate Kirk, just three months after Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
