Zara Tindall's brutal observation at Eugenie's wedding revealed by lip reader

The royal cousins are known for being close, with those of a similar age gossiping in their WhatsApp group most days.

And in person Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall are just as chatty.

The gang are often seen chatting and joking around with each other and their partners at various royal events.

But one cheeky quip from Zara to her close cousin Prince Harry could have caused a little bit of awkwardness behind the scenes.

Princess Anne's daughter made a quiet joke about Princess Eugenie's royal wedding that could potentially have landed her in hot water.

Eugenie married her beau Jack Brooksbank at St George's Chapel in Windsor in 2018 in front of hundreds of guests including supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss and popstars Ricky Martin and Ellie Goulding.

But of course, the best seats in her house were filled by her beloved cousins, including Zara and her husband Mike and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

A lipreader has revealed the quip they think Zara made to Harry just before the ceremony began.

Leaning back to say a few words to her cousin, the lip reader claims Zara told the Prince: "It's very quiet compared to the screaming at your wedding."

In response, he allegedly asked: "Mine?"

With both weddings taking place at the same venue, there were some similarities between Eugenie's wedding to Jack and Harry's wedding to Meghan.

But on the whole the two events were very different occasions.

Although Harry is a more senior royal than his cousin Eugenie, Prince Andrew said his daughter had more guests at her wedding because she had "so many friends."

It has been claimed Eugenie was left upset on her wedding day when Meghan used the occasion to tell members of the family she was pregnant.

While the official announcement of Meghan's pregnancy with Archie was made at the beginning of their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand, the pair shared the joyful news with close family at Eugenie's reception.

In their book Royals at War, investigative journalists Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett claim Meghan made the decision to tell people - and it didn't go down well with Harry.

They claim that it left the Duke of Sussex "embarrassed", and Princess Eugenie and her mum Sarah Ferguson "furious".

They write: "Meghan put her foot in it when she decided that it would be the ideal moment to announce that she and Harry were expecting their first child.

"This was a huge social gaffe, even if you were not a Royal – stealing the limelight from Eugenie, who was furious, as was her mother, Sarah."
