Fashion fans have been sent into a frenzy after spotting a stylish Skims dress 'dupe' that is almost identical - but at over £50 cheaper.
With its large selection of stylish items, the high street retailer has long been a popular go-to place for shoppers. It is also known for stocking a range of designer 'dupes', taking aim at luxury brands such as Chloé and Valentino.
Now, shoppers on TikTok have been rushing out to their local Zara store after finding out that the retailer is stocking a similar dress to one from SKIMS. The Kim Kardashian owned brand is popular among fashion enthusiasts, but its prices don't come cheap.
Luckily, Zara's Long Elastic Dress, priced at £22.99, has been hailed a 'dupe' for one of the luxury brand's most popular items - the Soft Lounge Dress. The SKIMS slip dress would set you back £78, meaning shoppers could save £50.01 for a similar dress.
Both dresses feature the same body-hugging slip style, with a round neckline and spaghetti straps. The main difference that we could find was that the SKIMS lounge dress is available in eight different colours, while Zara's can only be bought in three - brown, black and blue.
Zara's £22.99 'dupe' dress was recently shared by TikTok user @sophiaroseduffy who hailed it as "the most flattering dress from Zara" in a short video.
In the quick 10-second clip, which has since been viewed over 7,000 times, the fashion fan could be seen trying on the Zara 'dupe' dress. The caption for the video read: "Zara 'skims' dress."
Other fashioniastas were quick to compliment the 'dupe', with one saying: "Wow."
While a second said of the dress: "Omg lovee."
And a third gushed: "I need."
While a fourth asked: "Omg what’s the code for this Sophia!"
Another impressed shopper, @maddiewildeway, also shared the dress to the video sharing platform and hailed it as "an absolute skims doop."
Shoppers can purchase the Zara Long Elastic Dress online in a variety of UK sizes that range from small, medium and large.
