Zara shoppers have been left amused yet disturbed by the retailer's latest offering. Fans of the clothing brand will undoubtedly be already aware that Zara isn't one to shy away from something slightly bizarre and abstract when it comes to promoting its items, like one of its green dresses currently on sale.
Some shoppers have even said that the retailer has "lost the plot" after sharing a reduced long dress- standing at just £9.99 online, a whopping £70 less than its original price of £79.99.
The unusual image of Zara's long printed green dress was spotted by fans on the brand's website, which was then shared on parody account Awkward Zara, Nottinghamshire Live reports. The account boasts 67K followers and often posts pictures of the retailer that tend to poke fun at some of its more eccentric campaigns and fashion imagery.

Owner of the account made a cheeky post about the way the model was holding the lengthy dress. Standing in front of a swimming pool, surrounded by tropical plants, the model clutches the bottom of the dress in her hands over her thighs.
Now this is the part fans found "hilarious." In the look that seemingly is meant to appear as though the model has just come out of the pool with her damp frock, it instead looks- to numerous fans- as though the woman is urinating. A stream of water can be seen falling from her dress, which due to the positioning, could appear like it is coming from between her legs.
Referring to this in the caption, the author of Awkward Zara jokingly wrote: "Hey look, if you gotta go, you gotta go." The post quickly captured the attention of many, with thousands liking the post and hundreds commenting.
Poking fun at the large discount, Jesserinanne quipped: "No wonder it’s so heavily discounted," with a laughing face emoji. Another shopper, Irina.garrett, declared: "Zara's lost the plot."
Phillipaikhile admitted: "I was about to be like "this picture's not even bad", but then." Laurie_ehm typed: "Laughing so hard I’m also standing near the pool peeing myself."
Kirstietaylor123 wrote: "That's the face of someone who knows they are going to end up on Awkwardzara." Janinernorman joked: "Zara have really gone potty. This takes this p**s!"

On Zara's website, a description for the dress reads: "Long dress featuring a slot collar with adjustable ties. Sleeves falling below the elbow with elastic trim. Metallic thread appliqué detail. This product has a larger fit than usual."
