Fans of fashion retailer Zara have been dealt a blow after the company announced that Irish shoppers will have to pay for returns for the first time.
Until now, consumers could return a Zara order for free at a drop off point such as at a Post Office.
However, people wishing to have their unwanted items sent back to the company will now have to pay €1.95.

Zara said on its website: "Returns of orders placed from 05.05.2022 onwards will have a cost of 1.95 EUR, that will be deducted from the refunded amount."
Shoppers in the UK will also be required to pay £1.95 to have their orders returned.
The good news is that shoppers can still return their purchases to Zara stores across Ireland for free.
Zara's policy states: "You can return your order at any Zara store free of charge in the same market/region where you made the purchase.
"You only have to present the purchase receipt along with the items you wish to return. You can keep it on your mobile phone, print it out or show your ZARA QR, which you will find by going to the “Purchases” section of the ZARA app.
"Remember that you do not need to make a return request via the website or the app for in-store returns.
"Bear in mind that if you cannot make it to a physical store yourself, you can allow someone else to go for you."
People have 30 days from the shipping date of their order to return their purchase from Zara.com, and the items must have all their labels and be in perfect condition.
There are six Zara stores in Dublin, as well as one apiece in Cork, Limerick, Newbridge, Athlone and Belfast.
