Zara Keeps Working to Lessen Its Fast-Fashion Footprint With a Second Circ Collaboration

Fast-fashion retailers are a little like Dr. Jekyll and the infamous Mr. Hyde. On the one hand, they supply trendy and staple fashion at reasonable prices. Although the process to make those affordably-priced pieces can negatively impact the environment and some claim the cheaper items don't last as long as the designer ones. Zara is doing its part to make a difference in the industry via its Sustainability Innovation Hub and the latest collection is with a previous partner.

Circ x Zara take two is just as covetable and eco-conscious as the first collaboration. Circ's technology uses textile waste to create new materials by separating the raw materials, which, in turn, reduces the reliance on virgin raw materials during fabric production. At this point you're probably wondering if the clothing is as chic as other Zara collections. Breathe easy because it is. There's a white midi skirt you can wear into fall, a flirty draped minidress and an open back dress that you can layer from here on out.
