With the summer season fast approaching, retailers are starting to unveil their latest beachwear fashion trends.
Among them is Zara, who have recently given its shoppers a glimpse at what they will be offering in store this year. But one item seems to have caught the attention of lots of people online.
The shop posted a picture on Instagram of a pink bikini which is part of its beachwear collection for 2022. The design features a flower stitched to the bra section of the bikini being worn by a female model looking moodily into the camera with her hair tied up in a top knot with a pink scrunchie.
The post itself has received more than 77,470 likes on Instagram, with the costume getting a lot of love from shoppers. However, it has also received its fair share of questionable responses, with the floral elements getting some criticism.
It has led to some describing it as a design that makes the wearer look more like a child. One person commented on the picture: "Looking like a grown toddler."
Others also laughed at the design along with how the model was posed during the shoot. One person described it as "funny" and that the design was "not for a grown woman".
However, plenty of people loved the look. One person simply put: "Need this suit! How much?"
Many others described it as cute. One comment reads: "How cute is this bikini?!?! Ha! Dreaming of summer."
