Zane Tetevano has cast doubt over his career after a suggestive social media post. Concern was raised earlier this week when Rohan Smith confirmed the forward was set for an indefinite spell on the sidelines due to a medical issue.
Details regarding Tetevano's condition have been kept private but the former NRL player took to his Instagram account over the weekend. Posting a picture of himself playing for the Rhinos, the 32-year-old captioned the photo with a checkered flag, which in the racing world is used to signify the end of a race.
Tetevano is in the final months of his deal with Leeds and it was unclear whether he would remain at the club beyond the end of the season before the medical issue that has forced him to spend some time away from the field.

The likes of Aidan Sezer, Blake Austin and Derrell Olpherts all shared comments on the post, though there was no clarity on the deeper meaning of the caption. However, it only adds weight to the suggestion Tetevano's Leeds career, and potentially his rugby league career altogether, could be over.
Everyone at Rugby League Live wishes Zane a speedy recovery.
