The Chicago Bulls find themselves in Paris to take on the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.
Coincidentally, the 2024 Olympics will take place in Paris, where Zach LaVine hopes to find himself once again to win his second-straight gold medal.
“It would be great whenever you have an opportunity to play for your country,” LaVine said at Wednesday’s practice. “Last time, I was successful. We were able to bring back gold from over in Tokyo. It’s a great experience. I’ll never forget that. If I have another shot at doing that, I’d love to.”
LaVine won a gold medal with Team USA in T2020 Tokyo, his first time playing for the National team. In Tokyo, LaVine averaged 9.7 points per game on 60% shooting from the field and 45.5% from 3-point land.
“Obviously, you have to see what the future holds and how you feel and how your body feels,” LaVine said. “But whenever you have an opportunity like that, especially in a setting like it’s going to be over here, it’s going to be fun.”
