With training camp getting underway for NFL teams reports are starting to circulate about which young players are leaving a good first impression. Former Ohio State, and now Falcons edge rusher, Zach Harrison, is amongst those.
In an article written on SBNation’s Falcoholic, Adnan Ikic and Kevin Knight praised the rookie and had this to say about his second day of training camp.
“Third round pick DE Zach Harrison had a standout day as well,” wrote the pair. “He came away with what would have been sacks against both Heinicke and Desmond Ridder on nearly consecutive plays during the red zone portion at the end of practice. He was the among the most impressive defensive linemen.”
Harrison has always had all the tools to be a star edge rusher. Coming in as a five-star in the 2019 class he had a very good blend of size, length, power, and athleticism.

He never quite reached superstar level for the Buckeyes but was still a very good player who had a productive career at Ohio State. Harrison made either a media or coaches-selected all-conference team in each of the last three seasons.
We wish Harrison the best moving forward as his NFL career gets underway in Atlanta.
