Yusuf Kabadayi makes decision over his future amid links with Rangers

Yusuf Kabadayi is not headed for Rangers this summer.

The Bayern Munich youngster has agreed a permanent transfer to join fellow Bundesliga side FC Augsburg.

The 20-year-old German has been heavily touted for a move to the Scottish Premiership this summer.

It was widely expected that the wide attacker would become the sixth signing for Philippe Clement, with Hamza Igamane set to be the fifth.

Sources in Germany, including Tobi Altschäffl on social media site X, say that he is set for a medical at Augsburg today.

All being well, Kabadayi will sign a four-year deal until the summer of 2028.

The move is believed to be worth around £800,000 for Bayern. Add-ons will also be factored into the deal.

Kabadayi spent time at Schalke last season to aid in his development.

But with just 12 months remaining on his contract in Munich, the German giants have opted to cash in.

Meanwhile, Hamza Igamane's move to Rangers has edged closer after the player bid an emotional farewell to his current club.

The 21-year-old striker will seal his move to the Scottish Premiership imminently and is en route to Glasgow.

He has sent a heartfelt thank you to FAR Rabat in Morocco for playing their part in his development up until this point in his career.

Posting on social media, Igamane wrote: "My success comes only through Allah. In Him I trust and Him I turn.

"After an incredible journey with ASFAR, which has shaped me into who I am today, it's time to bid farewell and embark a new challenge. I've had the honour of achieving two titles with the club I deeply love.

"I'm forever grateful to the committee represented by President Mohamed Haramou, and Vice President Al-Ayoubi, to all the Askaries, team-mates, coaches, staff, and everyone who has influenced my career in any way."
