YouTubers Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams have shared some very exciting news - and their fans have been crying tears of joy.
The much-loved couple have revealed that they are expecting twins via surrogate, with the news announced to fans in a sweet video that was shared on Ryland's YouTube channel. Shane, 34, and Ryland, 32, revealed the news in a 17-minute-long vlog. The video saw them find out they were having twins and attend their surrogate's six-week scan as well as making the trip to Washington for the appointment.
In the video - which has racked up more than 35,000 likes - Shane explained how the entire experience was "the craziest" of his whole life, before adding that he couldn't believe it was happening and how it was a moment the couple had been waiting for "forever".
Shane and Ryland, who got wed in January, have kept the news of their expectant twins under wraps for a number of weeks, with them revealing that they found out that their surrogate was pregnant on April 22. The video documented the entire process and took viewers and fans on the journey with them, with them also admitting that the vlog was so that their kids could watch it in the future.
In the video, Ryland announced the joyous news that their surrogate had fallen pregnant with not one, but two babies. "So…its twins! Oh my god, that was such a surreal experience," he exclaimed.
After the scan, Shane said that the twins "looked healthy, their heartbeats were strong, the measurements were good." He added: "With our surrogate's history, everything looks really good."
Not only did they announce they were expecting twins, but they revealed what they plan to name their sons too. The couple told fans that they plan on calling their babies Jet Adams Yaw and Max Adams Yas, with them due on January 4, 2024.
Fans were quick to comment on the video on YouTube, with one writing: "Watching you guys from when y’all first started dating to this actually brought me to tears. Watching you grow into amazing fathers!"
Another then added: "I feel like I’m going to cry. This is so incredible. The journey that you have all been on and everything you’ve overcome and achieved has led to this moment. I am so proud and happy for you both!!!!! You are both truly blessed, and there are nothing but good things to come!"
While a third person penned: "I’m so beyond happy for you guys you two truly deserve all the good coming your way! I’ve been with you guys since you’ve all started and I couldn’t be more thrilled for your next chapter being dads!!! Definitely didn’t cry."
Yesterday Ryland took to Instagram to share the news too, writing: "WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!!" before telling fans to check out the new vlog. One fan was quick to comment on the post, writing: "Huge congratulations!! So happy for you both and your families. You are seriously gonna be the best Daddies."
