Reality TV star Cory Wharton threw a punch at his rival Chase Demoor during a face-off for their boxing match this weekend.
Wharton, known for his family YouTube channel and appearances on Teen Mom, makes his boxing debut against Too Hot To Handle's Demoor on Saturday night at the Banc of California Stadium in California. The pair have had an ongoing heated rivalry for months, and it boiled over at last night's press conference after Demoor got too close to his opponent.
The pair stood together for a face-off, with the promotion Social Gloves opting not to put anyone between the two heavyweights even though there is a clear dislike between them. Demoor touched Wharton's hands and tapped him on the head as he towered over him, before knocking off his hat which resulted in his opponent throwing out a quick jab.
Eventually security had to come in to separate the reality TV stars, who appear to have a legitimate feud for some reason. Wharton later told reporters that he felt he had to throw a punch after being touched at both the event's launch press conference in July and yesterday's show.
"I punched his a**," Wharton told FightHub TV after the melee. "It was just a quick little something, because he put his hands on me at the first press conference so I'm letting him know I'm not backing down man, Saturday we here and I'm ready for this s***. I did what I had to do."
However, former American football star Demoor was unimpressed with Wharton's power, later telling Fight Hub TV that he didn't hit particularly hard. He also claimed to have pushed off four security guards to throw another punch at Wharton, although that didn't happen on stage.

"I was just in there, he was talking," Demoor explained. "I flicked his hat off, he punched me, I had four guys grab me I pushed them all off me and I punched him back. Simple as that, he's going to get one shot, that was his one punch of the night and if that's all he's got then this fight's already lost.
"I've been hit worse by women, come on. See the difference is when he punched me I had four guys with me, I jumped over and gave him one right and he didn't want to fight no more, so I think that's going to say a lot come fight night."
Also featured on Saturday night's card are American Football legends Adrian Peterson and LeVeon Bell in a battle of the running backs. They join basketball player Nick 'Swaggy P' Young and influencer Minikon as well as YouTubers Adam Saleh and Landon McBroom on a star-studded undercard.
Saleh was due to face Manchester United icon Patrice Evra, earlier this year on the undercard of Martyn Ford vs Iranian Hulk, but the event was ultimately cancelled. Meanwhile, Minikon has stepped in on 48 hours notice after rapper Blueface was pulled from the card.
