YouTube star gives birth in front of 425,000 people and says she has 'no regrets'

Imogen Horton has said she has 'no regrets' about filming her daughter's birth for her 425,000 YouTube subscribers.

The fashion and beauty blogger, 28, shared the footage on her Imogenation channel, which has amassed thousands of loyal fans.

Imogen regularly regales her followers with her latest beauty buys and fashion hacks, but last year she decided she wanted to share more.

Speaking about her decision to film Renaelia's birth, the influencer explained that it 'wasn't a big deal' for her because she's 'always been in front of a camera and loved performing'.

Recalling the labour at which her husband Spencer was by her side, she said: "I was so deep in the contractions that I really didn't think about the fact we were filming the birth for my 425,000 YouTube subscribers."

Describing the artistic process behind the filming, Imogen pointed out the couple were on the same page.

She told new! magazine: "We agreed when it came to filming the birth there'd be no filming down low! I do have limits. And we'd never expose Renaelia without a top on or to expose her body in that way.

"If she says to me when she's older 'Mum I really don't like that birth video online', then I'll take it down."

Imogen and Spencer also filmed their wedding for YouTube in 2019 as well as taking part in a Q&A about their sex life.

Conceding that she was "like marmite", the influencer said her content had divided viewers and revealed she'd received a lot of negative comments and even death threats.

Thankfully, Imogen reckons she's stronger since giving birth to her daughter in September and tries not to let the trolling bring her down.

Of course, the life of a YouTuber doesn't stop for a baby and Imogen admitted she was back at work a month after she gave birth.

The entrepreneur has come a long way since filming after her night shifts in her landlady's flat when she was starting out on her influential journey.

When Imogen met Spencer, he was working as a barber, but now he helps his wife with her Hunny Store channel, which is described as a "one-stop shop for sustainable clothing and cruelty-free makeup".

Describing her busy schedule, Imogen said she films for YouTube twice a week, TikTok five times a day and Instagram videos whenever she can.

Admitting she was a "workaholic", the influencer previously told SussexLive : "I would say the key is to be consistent, patient and always be yourself.

"Whatever quirks you have, own them, they are what make you special!"
