YouTube star KSI did not consider Andrew Tate as a possible opponent for his boxing return this weekend, but admits he could be tempted to face him down the line.
The social media sensation will park his chart-topping rap career on Saturday night at a sold out O2 Arena when he fights not one but two opponents after three years out of the ring. He'll open the night against rapper Swarmz, before coming back hours later for the main event against Mexican Luis Pineda.
The Brit was initially due to face Alex Wassabi before pulling out with a concussion and decided to add a second opponent when fans were underwhelmed by Swarmz replacing the American. KSI has been mentioned as a possible opponent for the combat comeback of former champion kick-boxer Andrew Tate, but believes that after his blanket social media ban he could prove too controversial.
Tate has made a number of controversial comments online and was given a blanket ban across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube this week. He had previously been banned on multiple occasions by Twitter and has now vowed to take a step back from social media.
"I don't know if DAZN will allow Andrew Tate on their card," KSI told media at his final press conference on Thursday. "But if they're down, then yeah, maybe that could be another option for my next few fights.
"I think he has a lot of good points when it comes to hard work and success and being strong when it comes to working out. But I think his views on women are completely skewed and terrible, I don't want for my girlfriend to be a servant or a slave, I want someone who will challenge me and show me what's right and wrong. I want someone that I can enjoy life with and not try to control.

"For me, I've got a lot of options but its about whether or not DAZN would allow someone like Andrew Tate to be on. Obviously Andrew Tate has a few negative connotations with him and right now he's been banned from most social media, so it's whether DAZN want to be involved with that.
KSI is on a war path for Jake Paul but is planning one more tune-up fight at the end of this year or the start of 2023 before moving on to a Wembley Stadium showdown with his long-time rival. He is already eyeing up other YouTubers, including a number of those on his fight card this weekend.
"There are a number of names out there. The winner of Slim vs Temperrr [his co-main event for the night], or Gib vs Austin McBroom [two weeks later], Tommy Fury or Dillon Danis. There are plenty of names in the field. For now I just need to focus on getting these two knockouts and then just kind of see what's going on in other fights."
