YouTube boxers KSI and Logan Paul celebrate deal with Premier League side Arsenal

YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul have agreed a deal with Arsenal to provide the Premier League with their energy drink Prime.

KSI - real name JJ Olatunji - has shared the ring on two separate occasions against Paul with the pair fighting to a draw in their maiden bout, before KSI beat his rival in their professionally-sanctioned rematch. Since their rivalry ended, the pair have become friends and joined forces in business.

KSI had teased a big announcement on social media, and is known to be a big fan of north London club Arsenal, having regularly been seen in his own corporate box at the Emirates Stadium. He has since announced a new partnership with his boyhood outfit, tweeting: "PRIME X ARSENAL. This is honestly one of the greatest days of my life. A childhood dream.

"To be able to sponsor Arsenal with Prime and have it at the stadium for everyone to drink including the players! Feeling good about Arsenal this season too so I’m excited." His business partner Logan also confirmed the news on his own social media, adding: "Prime is now the official sports drink of Arsenal. Madness."

Prime initially launched in the US with staggering sales leaving the pair unable to meet the overwhelming demand for the drink. The pair have since launched the drink in the UK, with staggering crowds flocking to greet the pair at the launch at Asda stores in London.

Gatorade previously provided sports drinks to Arsenal but Prime will now become the central provider to the club. The Gunners are currently preparing for the opening fixture of the Premier League campaign where they travel to South London to take on Crystal Palace.

Optimism is in the air under manager Mikel Arteta after a successful pre-season which was capped off with a thumping 4-0 victory over Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea during a tour in the US. KSI, meanwhile, will return to action in his against Alex Wassabi on August 27 at London's O2 arena.

It will be his first appearance in the boxing ring since defeating Paul in 2019. The fight will be broadcast on streaming service DAZN as part of the broadcaster's venture into influencer boxing. Paul, meanwhile, is expected to return to the ring having been absent since his exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather last summer. He could take on Conor McGregor's training partner Dillon Danis after the pair traded jibes on social media.
