YouTube boxer Logan Paul names Floyd Mayweather as person he most wants to slap

Logan Paul has elected Floyd Mayweather as the person he would most like to slap as he launches the Slap Fighting Championship this weekend.

The YouTube star previously fought undefeated boxer Mayweather in an exhibition bout last year which sold around one million pay-per-views.

Paul has now launched the Slap Fighting Championship alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.

And when asked who he would like to slap most during a press conference for the event, he replied: " Floyd Mayweather."

Paul will show the event live on his YouTube channel and social media platforms where he has cultivated a following of over 30million.

He was set to compete in a Slap Fighting competition of his own in Russia after an amateur clash with fellow YouTube sensation KSI in Manchester.

However he was forced to pull out at great expense when he knocked a sparring partner out cold with a brutal slap which was caught on camera.

"I was supposed to go to Russia to compete in like the bootleg first slap fighting tournament they had," Paul told the MMA Hour. "I had seen this phenomenon.

"I ended up slapping this 350lb guy, this slap master from the States, I just wanted to test because I've never open-hand f***ing slapped a human before.

"I knocked him out cold, like cold, cold - starched him to the point where after I hit him he didn't even know who he was. He was 6'3", 350lb and it was like 'damn', I believe I could do that to anybody standing across from me.

"That was concerning so I backed out, but now I get to host the competition and watch these crazy f***ing dudes slap the s*** out of each other.

"I took a $30,000 loss because of getting our whole team visas, booking flights and accommodation for Russia, getting hotels and everything. I took $30k to the chin by cancelling the trip."

Paul cancelled his plans to take part in the event after learning the injuries that can be caused by the sport.

The build-up to his exhibition with Mayweather was heated with his brother Jake getting into a fight with the retired star.

The YouTube star has since come out and publicly claimed that Mayweather still owes him money from their clash, with Paul set to earn around £15 million for the bout.

Mayweather responded by claiming that he is still waiting for some funds from fights during his boxing career and that the delay is normal.

However Paul has since hit back: "He came out and said this is the name of the game, this is how it works in boxing but I don't know if it is, I don't know if that's true," he said.

"I think after you fight you should get paid, it doesn't take this long to count the money. "I don't know [how much it is] but I know it's not everything. It's large enough for me to make a fuss about."
