Ahead of his boxing return next month, YouTube star KSI revealed he broke his nose but refused to tell fans how he picked up the injury.
KSI, whose real name is JJ Olatunji, fights for the first time in almost three years when he challenges fellow YouTuber Alex Wassabi on August 27 in Los Angeles. The Brit hasn't fought winning a split decision against Logan Paul in their 2019 rematch. The pair first met in a white-collar bout the year before that was scored a majority draw.
Since stepping away from the ring, KSI has focused on making music and creating content with his popular YouTube group 'Sidemen'. Showing off the x-ray of his broken nose, he said in a recent video: "I managed to break my nose, god damnit. This is is my nose and it ain't looking good bruv. I guess it looks a bit better now but at the time that it happened it was long for man."

Wassabi made his boxing debut in March, beating KSI's brother Deji as he suffered his third consecutive loss in the ring. Wassabi was the clear winner of the fight despite one judge scoring it for Deji. KSI has vowed to avenge his brother's loss but explained why he isn't targeting a quick knockout against Wassabi.
"I can't wait, I am going to f*** this man up. Everybody is going to be like 'oh just knock him out in 20 or 10 seconds', nah that's boring. I finally get my hands on this motherf***** and you think I'm going to just let it go in 10 seconds. Not one, two, or three rounds, maybe four or five rounds. I'm going to just repeatedly beat the living s*** out of him and laughing whilst I'm doing it," he said.
"I'm a dog, I'm always fighting and moving forward. There's never a dull moment when I fight, compare me to Jake Paul. Look at Jake Paul's last fight against Tyron Woodley. If you actually watch the whole thing, it was boring as f***. Yes, he got the spectacular knockout but before that, it was so actually trash.
"He got a dub but it was an 'L' of a performance. With me when I fight you are going to be entertained, every fight I've had has been entertaining. Imagine me with the crazy mentality but I now have technique. Instead of being overly aggressive I'm tactically aggressive."
