YouTube boxer Deen The Great is planning to boost his social media following before pushing for an exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather.
And the ICB champion has vowed to "go for the kill" against Mayweather, as opposed to taking the more defensive approach which fellow YouTuber Deji took last Sunday night in Dubai. He was impressed by the Brit, who managed to cut his legendary 50-0 opponent with one of the few shots he landed, but believes that such a bout is a "win-win" and required a more aggressive plan.
He is due to face Walid Sharks, an Emirati influencer who has won Golden Gloves tournaments in Dubai, as part of the new main event for Saturday's Misfits Boxing event in Austin, Texas. And a victory over Sharks would see his name improve further in the influencer boxing world after a punch-perfect debut win over Evil Hero back in August.
"Hey Floyd, we can run it too bro," Deen told Mirror Fighting ahead of his first main event fight. "I just need to get my followers up because Floyd ain't going to f*** with nobody who isn't famous. It was cool [Deji's bout with Mayweather], but if it were me I would have went into that motherf***er swinging.
"I'd be going in for the kill because fighting someone like Floyd it's a win-win. You get knocked out it's a win, and if you can somehow beat him that's a win! It is what it is, man, hell no he wouldn't have disrespected me like he did Deji!"

Deen knocked out TikTok star Evil Hero on KSI's undercard in London, but faces a considerable step up in opposition when he takes on Sharks, who has boxed at a high level as an amateur in Dubai. However, he has vowed to "make it look easy" after being handed the spot atop this weekend's card after Vitor Belfort pulled out of his bout with Hasim Rahman Jr.
"It will be the best YouTube boxing fight of all time," he declared. "But I'm going to make it look easy, we have no beef, I didn't know who he was or spoke about him. I never disrespected the man in any way - his name never came out of my mouth! He decided to go on a podcast interview and was saying Deen The Great's a b****, he's this, he's that.
"I don't know, he had the balls in his mouth. Mams [Taylor, Misfits Boxing promoter] brought the fight up and I accepted it. Then when the contract came he said seven weeks was not enough time. This is after him hyping the fight up saying I was scared! Aren't you an active boxer? I'm a street boxer."
