Youri Tielemans sent Chelsea transfer message amid Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool interest

Youri Tielemans has been advised to move to Chelsea, despite interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

The 24-year-old midfielder has less than 18 months remaining on his contract with Leicester City and his situation at the King Power Stadium is alerting plenty of clubs.

football.london understands that Tielemans is someone Arsenal very much like and could look at in the summer transfer window when he enters the final 12 months of his deal with the Foxes.

However, Liverpool and Manchester United are also said to be interested in the Belgium international, who has scored seven times for Leicester in all competitions this season.

Now, former Manchester United star Kleberson has told Paddy Power that Tielemans should snub interest from the likes of his old club and Liverpool because Chelsea's style of play suits him more.

He said: "Youri Tielemans is not at a big club. Leicester City don’t have the pulling power that some of the other Premier League teams possess.

"I could see Tielemans going to Chelsea because their style would suit him. When you watch Chelsea play, they are more comfortable with the ball.

"A move to Manchester United would be a really big risk for him, and Liverpool already have players who can control games and dictate the play."

What has been said on Tielemans' future?

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has been very honest about Tielemans' future and admitted the club have already started preparing for life without the midfielder.

"You always have to, that is key. I have said it before about the pipeline of players," Rodgers replied, in a press conference last month, when asked if Leicester have to plan for Tielemans leaving the club.

"You always have to be looking ahead, that's important. Sometimes it happens unexpectedly, other times you know where the situation is at.

"He is at an age and a stage in his contract where he has to ensure he looks at every option. I would love it to be here at Leicester, but I understand it's a very short career.

"For players, it's about ambition, the challenge and sometimes about a different environment. We have seen before that players will move on even after winning the Champions League.

"We have a close relationship, it's really strong. I made a commitment to him when I first came in that we would improve him as a player and he believes in the environment.

"Once the players are committed, focused and professional it's never a worry for me. You can see Youri loves being here and you have to respect these guys' careers are short."
